What are the characteristics of polypropylene fiber?

Polypropylene fiber is spun into silk after polymerization of propylene as raw material to obtain polypropylene.

Polypropylene fiber has the following characteristics:
1. High strength. The general breaking strength of polypropylene yarn is 4.5-7 g/den. This value is comparable to high-strength synthetic fibers such as polyester and nylon, and there is no loss of strength when wet.
2. Good abrasion resistance and elasticity. The wear resistance of polypropylene thread is second only to nylon in chemical fibers. When the elasticity is stretched at 3%, its elastic recovery rate can reach 96-1%. Therefore, the clothes made of polypropylene yarn are not only durable, but also have a crisp appearance and good dimensional stability.
3. Light specific gravity (0.91), corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance.
